From Start to Finish –

The Repair Process

This is what happens when you bring your vehicle to J & S Auto Body, Inc. for repairs. Keep in mind, this process may differ depending on your repair needs.

1. An estimate is prepared by one of our trained estimators.
2. We review the estimate with you and once you have approved it, we contact your insurance company for their approval.
3. Time to order parts.
   • We have the availability to find and use factory, aftermarket, and like kind, quality, used parts.
4. Once we receive the necessary parts its time to get to work.
5. In the mean time, if you need help coordinating a rental vehicle, we would be happy to assist. We will also assist with coordinating any other services that may be needed while your car is being repaired, such as, window replacement, bed liners, or alignments.
6. Now we will disassemble your vehicle and inspect for any additional repairs that may not have be visible during the original estimate. If there is no further damage we will continue with the repairs. If we do discover more damage, we will contact you immediately and we will work with your insurance company to supplement the original estimate.
7. Now the repairs are under way and parts are being repaired or replaced. Once your vehicle is repaired, we inspect all the work done to ensure quality.
8. Before paint, your vehicle will be sanded and masked off to ensure there will be no over-spray to the undamaged areas.
9. Once ready for paint, your vehicle will enter our dust free paint booth where we will apply multiple layers of the highest quality paint systems from PPG.
10. After allowing enough time for the paint to cure and dry, your vehicle will be re-assembled and will move on for its final inspection.
11. Your vehicle will be inspected to ensure that all repairs have been completed to the highest standards.
12. At this point your vehicle is ready to go home and we will coordinate with you for pick up or delivery!
